"What a fantastic day it was had by all last Saturday filled with delightful experiences exploring the Yarra Valley with Tantalising Tours! Our journey began with a visit to Cold Stream Dairy for cheese tastings. The selection of cheeses was not only diverse but also incredibly flavorsome. It set the perfect tone for the day ahead. Next up was a sweet stop in Healesville at a candy shop. It was impossible not to indulge in some sweet delights. The highlight of the tour, without a doubt, was the wine tastings followed by a tasty tapas lunch and scrumptious desserts with the wines we had just sampled outdoors in the warm sunshine at Yarrawood Estate. As if the day couldn't get any better, we concluded our adventure with gin tastings at Four Pillars Gin. Exploring the world of gin and tasting the various botanical flavors was a unique and enjoyable experience which was a first for me. Having worked with blind and vision impaired people for some years, our guides Erin and Sam from Tantalising Tours were exceptionally accommodating in using descriptive language, offering clear directions and providing comprehensive verbal descriptions of the surroundings throughout the tour to help us move safely and efficiently. They are very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing their experiences with us making the outing even more memorable. On the bus there and back, we played guess the scents and songs games they brought along which were lot of fun. In summary, Tantalising Tours curated a perfect day in the Yarra Valley that satisfied all the senses – from the savory cheeses to the sweet candies, exquisite wines, and finally, the intriguing world of gin.
